2020-11-23 The Flour Mill’s history The Flour Mill is located in Bream in the Forest of Dean, in Gloucestershire. Bream is an old village on the edge of what was once a royal hunting forest, and thus was never part of the old parochial system. It had rich deposits of iron ore and coal, exploited from Roman times, especially the iron ore.

Products produced at the mill included pancake mix, graham flour, buckwheat flour, corn meal, and cracked wheat breakfast cereal.
